Cloud FinOps Sr Engineer | Remote - Heredia

Requisitos:
- Degree in computer science or a similar field
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing or infrastructure management in a multinational organization
- Azure, AWS, or GCP certification preferred
- Solid understanding of hybrid cloud or muti- Cloud infrastructure financial management
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs to meet business needs
- Proficient in cloud cost management tools, such as Cloudablity or Cloud Health
- FinOps certification a plus
- Good communication, collaboration and client management skills
- Possess strong analytical skills and thrive in a detail- Oriented environment
- Effective problem-Solving and mediation skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner
- Highly motivated, self- Tarter with track record of managing complex projects and delivering strong results

Actividades a realizar:
In this role, you will be a critical partner and advisor to the North America Chief Technology Officers and their respective teams to improve financial management of cloud cost. You will provide support to drive FinOps maturity, cloud strategies, and metrics reporting. Specifically, you will:

- Engage with IT, Operations, and Finance teams to implement FinOps best practices and adoption of cost saving strategies. This will include providing recommendations on optimizing cloud usage and reengineering opportunities.
- Provide domain knowledge on cost and commercial related aspects of the cloud life cycle and develop tools to provide business units with cost related insights, metrics and KPIs.
- Support businesses on developing prioritization strategies; including rightsizing, resource rationalization, workload optimization, rate gamification and automation techniques.
- Understand and participate in identifying cloud native services that can be leveraged as businesses transition from an on- Remise model to a cloud service model.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to streamline and standardize data integrations.
- Understand and engage with stakeholders to transform the way cloud resources are purchased, managed and optimized.
- Participate in industry forums to drive continuous evaluation on new and potential technologies for financial processes, costing and optimization.
- Build relationships and collaborate across multiple teams to drive regional standardization and best practices
